It seems to be pretty normal for people to be separated into categories based on age, personal tastes, and culture. In the Bible we find God forming a new kind of community that includes people from “every nation, tribe, and tongue”. A community that doesn’t just tolerate each other, but respects, loves, and learns from each other.

The Fusion Gathering was launched in the fall of 2008 to fuse or bring together a diversity of students, local residents and families, foreign residents, and campus staff in the journey to live in tune with the God of the Bible.

Fusion Community Church is the name we use to talk about the collective group of people involved in this local expression of Jesus followers.

Just as the fusion of atomic nuclei can release massive amounts of energy, we hope that the fusion of people and cultures will enable us to release the great energy and love of God to bring valuable change to the world around us.
